Wind chill warnings are in effect for several Saskatchewan communities, including Regina, as a blast of Arctic air hits the province.
Environment Canada says temperatures are expected to drop to as low as -43C with the wind chill in parts of southern Saskatchewan on Monday morning.
The agency warns that at these extreme wind chill values, frostbite on exposed skin could occur in less than 10 minutes.
