The death of a woman pronounced deceased at the scene of a house fire in southern Saskatchewan is considered suspicious, RCMP say.

Emergency crews were called to the fire at a home in Yellow Grass, Sask., at 8:40 p.m. Thursday. A woman was found at the house, police said in a media release. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fire has since been extinguished and investigators consider the death suspicious.

No other details have been released.

Yellow Grass is located about 30 kilometres northwest of Weyburn.
