Regina police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted while she was running in Wascana Centre over the weekend.

The 29-year-old woman told police that a teenaged boy dressed in casual clothing had been running unusually close to her on the north side of the park early Sunday evening.

She said when they got near the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the teen grabbed her and tried to pull her toward him, but she punched him and ran away.

The attacker was described as a 16- or 17-year-old Aboriginal boy with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering or an emblem on the front and long pants.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is being asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
