Police are searching for two suspects after a woman was shot in the face with a pellet gun.

The 911 call came in around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday night from the 2200 block of Broad Street. A 25-year-old woman said she was approached by two men carrying what appeared to be handguns. The men demanded her purse and she says they both shot her in the face two or three times after she hesitated.

The victims fled and the victim went to a local business to call 911.

A canine team was brought in, but was unable to track down the suspects.

The first suspect is described as between 17 and 19-years-old, between 5’8” and 5’11”, weighing 140-160 pounds, with black hair, dark eyes, clean shaven, wearing a black hat and a bomber jacket with a “Raiders” logo.

The second suspect is described at 16 to 17-years-old, between 5’3” and 5’5”, weighing 130-140 pounds, with black hair and dark eyes. He was wearing a black hat, a black hoodie, and dark blue or black jeans.

Both pellet guns are described as looking like handguns.
