A man is dead after he was electrocuted while working on a farm in west-central Saskatchewan.

RCMP say the victim was part of a five-man work crew that was assembling grain bins on a farm near Coleville on Monday.

The metal bins were being moved by a crane when the machine hit an overhead power line, electrocuting one of the workers below.

Emergency crews responded but were unable to revive the man, who has been identified as 23-year-old Kelly Bruce Rolston of Mayview, Sask. Mounties say Rolston was working for a construction company based in Shellbrook, Sask.

None of the other workers were hurt in the incident.

The investigation has since been handed over to Occupational Health and Safety.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
