A youth male is in hospital after approaching police with a gunshot wound Friday night.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., police were on scene in the 2700 block of 10th Avenue, when they were approached by the young man who said he had been shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
At the same time, police say additional officers were dispatched to a nearby address on 10th Avenue. Multiple people exited the address voluntarily and were taken into custody with incident.
Regina police say they arrested one youth believed to be involved, and a search of the address and neighbourhood was conducted.
Due to the age of the victim and the suspect, names cannot be released in accordance with provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
