Allison Bamford is a Multi-Skilled Journalist for CTV National based in Regina, Saskatchewan.

She started as an intern at CTV Saskatoon in 2016, before becoming a permanent video journalist at CTV Prince Albert in May 2017. Allison enjoyed working in the ‘Gateway to the North,’ covering Indigenous issues, court, sports and community events.

In the fall of 2017, she moved closer to home and accepted a job at Global Regina, where she worked as a producer, reporter and anchor for nearly four years. Allison extensively covered Saskatchewan’s 2020 Provincial Election, leading results coverage and participating in the provincial debate panel. She is the former host of the current affairs program Focus Saskatchewan.

Allison grew up in Assiniboia, Sask. She attended the University of Regina, graduating with a degree in Journalism in 2017.

She has a passion for curling and one of the highlights of her career is covering the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw.

When she’s not reporting, Allison is usually attending spin classes, enjoying locally crafted beer or spending time with her niece and nephew.

She speaks English.
