A Regina man was charged with attempted murder Friday in connection with a home invasion in May of last year

On May 15, 2012, police received a call just before midnight from a home on Bauermeister street where it was reported that two men and a woman forced their way into the house and assaulted the couple living there.

The two men who broke into the home were reportedly carrying guns. The thirty-five year-old male victim was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds, and the woman, then twenty-five, was treated for injuries consistent with an assault.

The female suspect was arrested in October, and Thursday police laid charges against William Francis Noname.

The 31-year-old man is facing charges of attempted murder, threatening, and break and enter.
