Four years ago as a new member of Council, representing Ward 1, I saw Regina as a growing city with unresolved legacy issues, and a backlog of failing infrastructure. The fast paced City Council work for the last 4 years has given me opportunities to provide leadership in finding solutions and bringing resolutions forward for many issues.
Priorities are:
- Preservation of neighbourhood characteristics
- Advocacy for rebuilding/maintaining residential roads
- Enforcement of property maintenance bylaws
- Health and fire safety in rental housing
- The sustainability of Wascana Park
Four years of emails, telephone calls and meetings with residents has been a great experience. It gave me the opportunity to share information and find solutions for concerns. I look forward to another 4 years of working with you to make quality neighbourhoods even better.
