The body of a deceased adult male was found near the 2200 block of Dewdney Avenue on Sunday.

Regina police are conducting an investigation in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner.

Police received a call at approximately 1:15 p.m. Sunday from a Canadian Pacific worker who located the body in the CP Rail yard. Police secured the area and brought in the forensic identification and major crimes unit, as well as the coroner.

Police say the investigation is still in the early stages, however, they are treating the death as suspicious until they know more. The scene at the CP Rail yard is currently being held by police, pending further investigation.
