A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Regina man wanted in a nightclub shooting that injured two men last month.

Omar Abdi Hakim Haji-Hussein is facing two charges of attempted murder in connection with the April 29 shooting at the Pump Roadhouse on Victoria Avenue East.

Two men, ages 22 and 35, suffered gunshot wounds in the incident. The 22-year-old victim has since been released from hospital. Police said last week that the other man remains in hospital, and that they believe the suspect and one of the victims are known to each other.

Haji-Hussein is described as 30 years old, six-foot-two and about 250 pounds with brown skin, black hair and brown eyes. He may also go by the name Abdi Hakim Omar or “Z.”

Police have not released a photo of Haji-Hussein, but they are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers. They say anyone who sees Haji-Hussein should not approach him and should instead call 911.
