Police say charges are pending after officers responding to a report of gunfire surrounded a home in Regina.

A gunshot was reportedly heard in the area and suspects were seen entering the house, located in the 400 block of Mullin Avenue, around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A dozen police vehicles descended upon the scene. Officers had their guns drawn and traffic was blocked off in the area.

Six people inside the home were brought out in handcuffs. Two of them were taken into custody and the rest were released.

Traffic is no longer restricted in the area.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
