A man banned from Regina for stalking a woman for more than three decades has been arrested in Saskatoon for allegedly breaking a court order.
In August, Gerald Klein was banned from living in Regina as part of a one-year court order intended to keep him away from Cathy Kaip, the woman he stalked for 35 years. Klein is appealing the ban.
He appeared in Saskatoon provincial court Thursday morning and remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing Friday. In 2003, Klein was sentenced to three years in jail for criminal harassment.
