A 34-year-old man is facing multiple drug and firearms charges after a traffic stop on Tuesday night.

Police stopped a vehicle around 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Rae Street. According to police, officers found cocaine, methamphetamine and other paraphernalia while searching the vehicle. Police say they also found a loaded firearm in the vehicle. Further investigation showed the man was involved in an old fraud incident, police said in a news release.

Curtis James Pambrun, 34, is facing multiple charges, including fraud, careless use of a firearm and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. He made his first court appearance on Wednesday afternoon.
