A fire in Indian Head early this morning completely burnt down a restaurant and gas station but crews were on hand quickly to prevent the fire from spreading any further.
Nothing has been confirmed yet by the Indian Head Fire Department but the fire is believed to have started around 1:30 Friday morning.
Crews did prevent the fire from burning the motel next door and the gas pumps didn't explode. The fire department was apparently at the scene till sometime around 7:30 Friday morning.
The fire was still smoldering at 1:00 Friday afternoon and the cause is still under investigation.
