Three men and two women have been charged after RCMP seized a large quantity of drugs and cash in three separate raids in Regina.

The four-month investigation led to the seizure of 15 ounces of cocaine, 150 ecstasy pills, about two pounds of marijuana, a small amount of magic mushrooms and over $10,000 in cash.

Six vehicles were also seized in the searches at locations on 10th Avenue East, Hodges Crescent and Fleet Street on Thursday night.

Officers arrested one of the suspects in the parking lot of a strip mall on Avonhurst Drive and Albert Street in Regina.

The five accused are each charged with three counts of drug trafficking, two counts of drug possession and one count of possession of proceeds of crime.

Larry Mak, 43, from Regina, 28-year-old Larry Warner from Edmonton, 24-year-old Hong Nguyen from Regina, 23-year-old Andrea Longman from Regina and 25-year-old Payton Vogt from Regina made their first court appearances Friday afternoon.

RCMP are continuing their investigation and expect more charges to be laid in the coming weeks.
