A semi rollover at the intersection of Albert Street North and Ring Road was causing delays Monday morning.
A two-trailer semi carrying gravel was traveling southbound on Albert Street around 9:35 a.m. and tried to exit onto Ring Road East around 9:35 a.m. , according to police. The driver hit the outer edge of the road and tipped over trying to correct the drift.
Dirt spilled onto the roadway and blocked Albert Street for several hours. The driver wasn’t injured in the rollover, but police say he will be charged with undue care and attention.
The semi is now back on its wheels at North Albert and Ring Road. Traffic is still really backed up. #yqrtraffic pic.twitter.com/wsgf2Er829
