A gun call at a home in Regina prompted a nearby elementary school to lock its doors as a precaution.
Police say they were called after a witness reported seeing a gun at the home, located in the 1000 block of McTavish Street, around 12:45 p.m. Monday.
As a precaution, the nearby Seven Stones Community School was placed in “secure the building” mode, in which the exterior doors of the building are locked and monitored.
The secure the building was lifted around 3:45 p.m.
The incident is still under investigation.
