The CTV Home Town Tour is making their final stop in Lumsden on Friday.
Dan and Danielle will take in a horse drawn wagon tour, tour the town with Mayor Matheson, and go to a must-visit restaurant for lunch.
Lumsden was established in 1889, and has a rich history. It’s the hometown of both Joe Fafrard and John Nugent, who’s studio is now a provincial heritage site. The town is also known for their love of a sports, and while they’re a smaller centre, every sport is represented.
Home Town Tour will draw to a close with a Party in the Park where CTV will broadcast live from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the entire community is encouraged to come participate in the fun. There will be ball games, soccer, a petting zoo, as well as a full service canteen.
