RCMP say foul play has been ruled out after human remains were found during an excavation in a field near Moosomin over the weekend.
Mounties say a forensic anthropologist has determined that the remains are historical.
Officials from Saskatchewan's Heritage Conservation Branch are expected to continue examining the scene Monday.
