The fate of a 67-year-old Saskatchewan man accused of killing his live-in lover is expected to be handed to the jury today.

Tony Lawrence Warken of Bengough is charged with manslaughter in the death of Gordon Gregson in November 2009.

Warken has testified he was in a relationship with Gregson for several years.

He also testified he drank around eight beers and half a mickey of rye whiskey and the two briefly fought in a hot tub before Gregson died.

A pathologist has testified that Gregson was strangled.

The judge is expected to address the jury later this morning.
