REGINA -- You’ve probably passed by it a hundred times. The dinosaur sculpture sits on a patch of grass where Lewvan Drive intersects with Saskatchewan Drive.

Viewer Krista noticed that, at various times during the year, someone dresses it up. When we went to get video of the sculpture it had Hawaiian lei’s on it.

Krista was #JustCurious who the decorator is! City officials say it’s not supposed to be decorated at all and they do their best to remove any items that are placed on the artwork when they’re placed on them.

The statue was commissioned in 1999 by Darcy Zink. It’s made of rebar and plate steel. It’s part of the city’s “civic art collection”.
