RCMP are investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian on a First Nation northwest of Prince Albert.

A 41-year-old man was struck by a vehicle Friday night on the Big River First Nation.

The man was airlifted to hospital. The extent of his injuries wasn’t known.

The vehicle left the scene of the crash, but the driver later returned.

Mounties say alcohol was not a factor and the investigation is ongoing.
