A 30-year-old Alberta man has been taken into custody after a stand-off near Indian Head on Monday.
Police received a report of an assault at a camper trailer at a work site just southeast of Indian Head around 11:15 p.m. on Monday.
Upon arrival, police learned that the man had access to multiple guns, and had allegedly threatened to harm others. As a result, police contained the area.
Around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the suspect left the camper and started to drive away in a truck. He was taken into custody without incident.
Police executed a search warrant, and found multiple guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition and high capacity ammunition magazines in the trailer.
Brandon Wagner, 30, of Ponoka, Alta. Is facing a number of gun related charges.
