Charges have been laid in an assault in southwest Regina that left a man in serious condition in hospital.
Police say the incident happened at a house in the 2000 block of Queen Street around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old acquaintance of the victim.
Charles Dwayne Klassen, 38, from Regina is charged with aggravated assault.
Klassen made his first court appearance Tuesday.
