Police have charged a Regina man in connection with a number of robberies that took place this spring.

Investigators say a man in disguise armed with a gun robbed a restaurant or lounge of cash nine times between March 2018 and May 2018.

Trenton Laliberty, 22, has been charged with nine counts of armed robbery with a gun, 10 counts of disguise with intent, robbery, two counts of assault with a weapon, nine counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order, two counts of discharging a firearm in a reckless manner, and 10 counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Laliberty made his first court appearance on Thursday morning.
