A man has died after the semi he was driving collided with a train north of Regina on Thursday morning.

The crash happened on Highway 6 near Raymore shortly after 11 a.m.

RCMP say the driver of the semi, a 52-year-old Saskatchewan man, died in the collision. His named hasn’t been released.

The male driver of the train was hurt, but the extent of his injuries wasn’t known.

Conditions were foggy at the time of the crash.

Highway 6 was blocked for several hours near the scene while Mounties and CN police investigated.
