Charges have been laid after the death of a man who was found injured in downtown Regina earlier this month.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Jessie Brandon Moneybird. Police say Moneybird was pronounced dead in hospital after he was fatally injured in a fight between two groups of people on the evening of June 9.
Shortly after the incident, a 20-year-old man involved in the fight assaulted and robbed a woman, police said.
Sylas James Moneybird, 20, of Regina is charged with manslaughter and robbery with violence. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
