A Saskatoon man convicted of murdering his wife has had his appeal adjourned for a second time.
David Woods was found guilty of killing his wife Dorothy Woods in 2014.
Since that time, Woods has gone through several lawyers. His appeal was originally scheduled for earlier this summer but was adjourned until Tuesday so his new lawyer could prepare.
On Tuesday, Woods filed for an amendment to his appeal at the Court of Appeal in Regina. The motion was granted, meaning both sides need more time to prepare their arguments under the new appeal.
Woods is now arguing that there is fresh evidence in his case as well as ineffective council at his trial in 2014.
