RCMP have charged a 36-year-old man who allegedly beat two people with a baseball bat in Balcarres.
Police say the attack happened at a home in the 200 block of Charles Street in Balcarres shortly after 10 p.m. Monday.
A 28-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and were later released.
Trent Koochicum, 36, has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and one count of aggravated assault.
RCMP say charges are pending against a second suspect in the case.
