A giant goose has landed in Wascana Park, and this one is definitely planning to stay the winter.
Queenie, a 12-foot-high play structure with four different styles of slides, replaces an older goose slide which had been in Candy Cane Playground for decades.
Queenie is named for the first live goose presented to Wascana Centre back in the 1950s. The structure will be open year round.
