RCMP say there haven’t been any impaired driving charges laid at the site of the Country Thunder music festival in Craven.

In the past 24 hours, RCMP have responded to 51 calls for service. There have been three assault calls, nine calls for disturbing the peace, five mischief calls and three calls for public intoxication. Police say there was one reported incident of sexual assault involving inappropriate physical contact over clothing. The suspect hasn’t been located.

RCMP issued 15 speeding tickets and one roadside suspension. There has also been one impaired driving charge off the site of the music festival.

Police say their goal is to make sure Country Thunder is a safe and positive experience for everyone.
