The province has scrapped a plan to relocate a Regina halfway house to the city’s northwest.
The government was looking at moving the rehabbing offenders to a place known as Dale’s House on McIntosh Street.
However, the minister in charge has pulled the plug on the move after learning that some violent offenders and sex offenders are in the transitional home.
The convicts will remain in the current location near downtown.
