The trial for the man accused of killing 18-year-old Nolen Tanner in October 2013 is underway.
Tanner was found dead in a home on the 500 block of Montreal Street. Neighbours described hearing a fight and gunshots at the time of his death.
Elijah Noname has pleaded not-guilty to second degree-murder.
On Tuesday Crown witnesses showed photos of the crime scene, including photos of the victim that show six apparent bullet wounds.
The trial by jury is scheduled to go for three weeks and the defense says Noname will take the stand in his own defense.
Tanner's death was the ninth homicide of 2013 in Regina.
