Two men are in custody and a third suspect is being sought in connection with a kidnapping and forcible confinement case in Estevan.
Police say Cyrus Ackrill, 19, and Daniel Lowenberg, 23, were arrested after officers were called to a home in the city’s southeast end late Monday afternoon.
The two men, who are both from Estevan, have each been charged with kidnapping, uttering death threats, forcible confinement and kidnapping for the benefit of a criminal organization.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a third suspect, 24-year-old Kolby Iezzi of St. Albert, Alta., who faces similar charges in connection with the case.
