More than $50,000 raised during Regina Humane Society telethon

Saskatchewan residents dug deep on Sunday night and helped raise thousands of dollars for the Regina Humane Society.

The 29th annual Regina Humane Society telethon took place from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, highlighting the work the society does throughout the year to find fur-ever homes for animals in the community.

CTV’s Lee Jones, Kahla Buchanan, Creeson Agecoutay and Heather Anderson all took part in the telethon.

The telethon raised $59,167 on Sunday night and donations are still being accepted on the RHS website.
