Creeson Agecoutay

Host of Indigenous Circle/Video Journalist

Creeson Agecoutay is a proud Nehiyaw (Cree) from the Cowessess First Nation on Treaty 4 Territory. He is also the host and producer for CTV’s segment, Indigenous Circle and a RTDNA national award-winning video journalist for CTV Regina.

Creeson was born in Saskatoon and grew up on Cowessess where he spent most of his childhood there until he graduated high school. He later called Regina home and immediately enrolled in the Indian Communication and Arts (INCA) program at the First Nations University of Canada and received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Regina’s School of Journalism.

Since 2008, Creeson has played a key role in everything the news team does on a daily basis from reporting, producing and anchoring. He enjoys the opportunity to travel across the province and abroad to report on Saskatchewan’s many diverse stories through CTV NEWS and CTV’s Indigenous Circle.

Outside of his job, Creeson enjoys helping where he can, travelling and spending time with family. He is also a video game and box office movie enthusiast and loves to snowboard.
