Mountie charged with assault causing bodily harm
An RCMP officer has been charged with assault causing bodily harm after an alleged on-duty incident involving a prisoner in west-central Saskatchewan.
Mounties say they launched an investigation after receiving a complaint that a member of the Turtleford RCMP used excessive force while processing a prisoner last April.
Const. Kelly Brennan, 42, from Walburg, Sask. is scheduled to appear in court March 20.
He remains on active duty and is facing an internal code of conduct investigation.
