No one was seriously injured after a multi-vehicle crash amid foggy and slippery conditions on a highway bridge near Lumsden.

Ten vehicles were involved in the crash Thursday morning on Highway 11 near exit C.

A STARS air ambulance transported one person from the scene, which RCMP described as “horrific.”

Several other people were also taken to hospital.

Two semis also went off the road near the scene, and one of them was leaking diesel fuel.

Drivers were being advised to expect delays throughout the day as crews worked to remove vehicles from the scene.

Mounties said road conditions and poor visibility were contributing factors in the collision.
