RCMP have laid a murder charge in the disappearance of a 79-year-old Saskatchewan man.
Henry Gin was reported missing from his home in Herbert last Wednesday.
Gin’s family became aware of his disappearance after a friend of his was unable to locate him for several days.
Mounties say they have now determined the disappearance is a homicide, based on facts gathered during their investigation.
Zuo yu (Jerry) Qiu of Herbert has been charged with second-degree murder. Qiu, 25, is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday in Swift Current.
