The new Mosaic Stadium is ready to rock. The city has announced the final test event at the new facility, an all Canadian concert called “Regina Rocks”, featuring Bryan Adams, Our Lady Peace and Johnny Reid.
The concert will take place on May 27, with tickets going on sale on April 8.
The event is the second major test event to be held at the stadium before the Riders first home season game on July 1, 2017. The first event was a Regina Rams game held in October of last year.
16,000 tickets were sold for the first test event, filling the stadium to 50 per cent capacity. The city solicited feedback from fans the week after the game to get a sense of how everything went.
The city is hoping to fill the stadium to 75 per cent capacity for the Regina Rocks event.
