RCMP have arrested nine people after a six-month investigation into cocaine trafficking in the Meadow Lake area.

Police executed search warrants at two homes on the Flying Dust First Nation and two others in Meadow Lake last Friday.

The searches turned up more than 100 grams of crack cocaine, $11,000 in cash and four firearms. Four vehicles were also seized.

Among those arrested in the investigation, known as Project EPOCH, were:

• Lori Lachance, 37, from the Flying Dust First Nation

- Drug trafficking

- Possession of proceeds of crime

• Howard Lachance, 59, from the Flying Dust First Nation

- Possession of proceeds of crime

• Lisa Ahenakew, 24, from Saskatoon

- Possession of proceeds of crime

• Robert Brent Graham, 49, from Meadow Lake

- Drug trafficking

- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking

- Possession of proceeds of crime

• Aaron Keith Ross, 32, from Meadow Lake

- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking

- Possession of proceeds of crime

- Breach of undertaking

• Kaylee Lynn Roy, 18, from Meadow Lake

- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking

- Possession of proceeds of crime

- Breach of undertaking

Police have also charged a 16-year-old boy from Meadow Lake with drug trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

Two other suspects remain at large. Police are continuing their investigation.
