A man is dead and two people are in custody following a crash at the intersection of Arcola Avenue and Park Street.
Regina police say a Dodge Ram truck that is believed to be stolen was speeding on Arcola Avenue when it broadsided a Ford Ranger.
The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 67-year-old man, died at the scene. His name hasn’t been released.
Two other vehicles were involved in the collision. The people inside suffered minor injuries.
Two males in the Dodge Ram fled the scene and were arrested a short time later. Police were initially looking for a third suspect, but they have now confirmed that there were only two people in the truck.
Police say they received two dangerous driving complaints prior to the crash, which happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The intersection of Arcola Avenue and Park Street was closed to traffic for several hours while police investigated.
