One person is dead and two others in hospital after two separate crashes Saturday in southern Saskatchewan.
RCMP say a 34-year-old man died after a vehicle with three people inside rolled over on a gravel road 20 kilometres south of Bengough. No name has been released.
A female passenger was taken to hospital in Regina with undetermined injuries.
About an hour later, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 9, about 16 kilometres north of Whitewood.
Mounties say the driver of a van was trapped inside the vehicle after it struck a pickup truck.
Bystanders freed him from the wreckage and he was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup wasn’t hurt.
Mounties say the van was stolen from a business in Whitewood a short time before the collision.
Charges are pending.
