Regina police have arrested an inmate who escaped from prison in Prince Albert but another still remains at large.

Cory Hourd was arrested in Regina around 6 p.m. Thursday. Police are still searching for the second escaped prisoner, Christopher Gibson.

RCMP say the two men escaped from the Riverbend Institution in Prince Albert shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Gibson is described as 31 years old, six-foot-one, 268 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has Chinese symbols and a rose tattooed on his left forearm.

Authorities say Gibson is considered dangerous.
