Starting on Tuesday, the intersection of Highway 1 and the Pilot Butte access will be closed permanently.
The closure will allow work to being on the Pilot Butte overpass, which is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2018.
Highway access will be redirected to Gravel Pit Road, via the new north and south service roads.
The speed limit will be reduced to 60 km/h along this route.
