A trial is underway for a Regina man accused of sexually assaulting a young woman he met through the popular online dating service PlentyofFish.com.

The woman testified Monday that the accused forced himself on her in his car while they were out on a first date in November 2010.

Court heard the two had been messaging each other on the dating website for about a month before the alleged incident.

Two other Crown witnesses were expected to take the stand in the afternoon, including a Regina police officer.

The accused cannot be named due to a court-ordered publication ban. His trial is expected to wrap up Tuesday.
