Police say they have arrested two suspects wanted in a pair of home invasions in Regina.

Patrol officers arrested Ryan James Varley and 28-year-old Kristin Marie Lerat, both from Regina, in the 2200 block of Broad Street on Friday morning.

The two are among five suspects charged with two counts of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The charges stem from two home invasions on April 1. The first incident happened at a house in the 1300 block of Rae Street.

It's alleged that four men and a woman broke into the home while three were females inside.

One of the victims, a 19-year-old woman, was taken against her will to a house in the 1000 block of Garnet Street, where another break and enter occurred.

One of the people in the home was assaulted during the incident. The perpetrators then released the victim from the first home invasion.

No details have been released on when Varley and Lerat will appear in court.
