Two teenaged suspects in a violent robbery in Prince Albert tried to talk their way out of being arrested, but police had their number.

It was on a stolen cellphone that rang in the pocket of one of the youths after officers dialed the number.

Police say two girls, ages 13 and 15, were robbed in the 1100 block of 15th Street West around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

One of the girls suffered minor injuries. She was taken to hospital and later released.

A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, both from Prince Albert, were arrested and charged with robbery with violence. Their names cannot be released.
