Regina Police have charges a 15-year-old boy with attempted murder after a stabbing incident left two people in hospital with serious injuries.

On Saturday night at 9:15 p.m.police were sent to a home in the 700 block of Garnet St. Upon arrival a 36-year-old man and 52-year-old woman were found to have injuries that resembled stab wounds.

Early investigation indicates that an altercation broke out between people visiting the residence and that the female victim tried to intervene in the struggle. It’s believed the incident took place in the alley behind the home.

The suspect fled the scene with two other individuals, but was located and charged by police.

The accused, who can not be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, made his first appearance in court on Tuesday morning.
